Today I'm going to do a review about the Clinique 3 step system. I wasn't the one to spend a fortune on skincare before , but I was desperate and crazed by my hormonal spots and breakout from stress . I bought this set as a last resort and I'm so pleased I did! I just wish I'd tried it years ago, I have been using this system for over 6 months now , and it really does clear up existing spots incredibly quickly.
- The Foaming Cleanser : it leaves your skin so clean , after a week of using it I noticed my skin was clearer and I had less breakout
- The Clarifying Lotion: I love how quickly this product works and how great it is as a preventative product as well, it has small granules that helps exfoliate the skin as well, it also helps with oil control
- All-Over Clearing Treatment : This helps treat existing acne and prevent future breakouts, it's very light and smooth , I use it underneath my foundation and it keeps it in place all day.
The only issue I had with it , is my skin felt so dry and tight after a couple of weeks , so I went back to my Clinique Consultant and she recommend that I use the Combination/oily system.The face wash is good. And the toner is amazing. My face feels so clean and fresh after using both and has already started to appear brighter
- Liquid Facial Soap : It takes my makeup off very well and leaves my face feeling so soft and clean, it does't irritate my eyes either
- Clarifying Lotion 2 : Even after cleaning my skin with the Clinique cleansing soap, I use this and it picks up the rest of the dirt and oils, it's not very harsh and it doesn't dry my skin out like the other toners
I switch between the 2 systems depending on my breakout and stress levels and it works great, I also use the Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel for the odd spots and it clears them in 2/3 days
Overall I really recommend the 3 steps system and Clinique in general
